About

Here’s a little more to get to know me;

I grew up in Columbus Ohio, with my loving family of 5. Where my love for most everything first began. I enjoyed living in a big city, but I was deeply passionate about horses (coined the crazy horse girl like many of us) and agriculture. I studied pre-veterinary science at The Ohio State University and graduated with my bachelors in 2023. Although, for as long as I can remember, there has always been a horse in my life and a camera in my hand.

My journey has taken me from studying science and working in veterinary hospitals, to guiding people on horseback through the mountains of Wyoming, to owning and training my own colts, and building my own business. With of course…many side quests in between.

I love hiking and exploring new places. I’ve been to 40 of the 50 states, 32 of the 63 national parks, and 12 countries. Some of my best memories were made far away from anything i’ve ever known, in sometimes completely foreign places. I’ve gone hiking through the back country, skydiving, skiing, fly fishing, day working, and picked up on many trades along the way. One of my proudest achievements was getting my advanced scuba diver certification with my fiancé in Thailand. Allowing us to dive deep below the surface at 100ft below sea level. Diving was one of my biggest bucket list items and it immersed me fully into a world beyond imagination.

Somewhere along the busy road, I came to understand the power behind art and photography and how it can play such an important role in the western world professionally. Social media will not be going anywhere anytime soon— we must adapt to the times. For ranchers, horse trainers, business owners it is simply not feasible to be everywhere all at once and expect to meet all the demands of marketing in today’s world. That’s why Rising M Creative was born. This passion of mine brings me closer to people through the lens of my camera. Capturing those bonds, documenting the hard work and art of the performance horse, helping businesses grow, and so much more.
